Salto, Buenos Aires
Salto is a city in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the Administrative centre, administrative headquarters for Salto Partido. It is about 200 km (124 mi) from Buenos Aires and 55 km ( 34 mi) from Pergamino. Salto is an agricultural community, crossed by a river, that it has some of the best fields of the province. Its main crops are soybean, corn and sorghum. It also has some important factories such as Grupo Arcor, Arcor, Pioneer Hi-Bred, Metrive and Soychú. Álvaro Salto Johansson (born 11 January 1974) is a Spanish professional golfer and former European Tour player. Amateur career Salto won the 1993 French Open Amateur Championship 4 and 3 over Thomas Besancenez. In 1996, he won the World University Golf Championship in Switzerland and represented Spain in the Eisenhower Trophy with Sergio García, José Manuel Lara and Ivó Giner, where they finished third behind Australia and Sweden. He turned professional the following year. Professional career Salto joined the Challenge Tour in 1998 and won the Eulen Open Galea in his rookie season. Salto (stylized as SⱯLTO) was a French subscription streaming service. A joint venture between France Télévisions, the TF1 Group and the Groupe M6, it was launched on October 20, 2020. Salto offered a library of films and television series from the three groups respective television networks, as well as exclusive programming. It also offered live access to their television networks, a catch-up service, and a selection of programs in advanced access before their original broadcast. A selection of films from third-party distributors was also available on the service. In February 2023, in a joint press release, the TF1, M6 and France Télévisions groups announced their intention to end the platform, following its difficulty in attracting subscribers. The H-101 ''Salto'' ('Loop') is an aerobatic glider of glass composite construction, developed in Germany in the 1970s. The director of photography is Kurt Weber and the music is by Wojciech Kilar. The title can be translated as "somersault" in English, or it can be seen as a reference to a rhythmic dance movement.
