Sally Cato
Smashed Gladys was an American glam rock band formed in 1982 by Bart Lewis and Sally Cato,who met in Toronto Canada and then moved to Manhattan. The band was initially managed by Gene Simmons of KISS with Sally Cato-vocals, Bart Lewis-lead guitar, Ken Fox - bass, and Matt Stelluto- drums. Ken Fox was replaced by JD Malo in 1984. The lineup for Smashed Gladys’s first self titled record made at Rockfield studio in Wales in 1985 was Sally Cato- vocals, Bart Lewis - guitar, Matt Stelluto - drums, JD Malo ~Bass, Marcel Lafleur ~Guitar. Glam Rock
Glam rock is a style of rock music that developed in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s and was primarily defined by the flamboyant clothing, makeup, and hairstyles of its musicians, particularly platform shoes and glitter. Gene Simmons (born Chaim Witz; ; born August 25, 1949) also known by his stage persona "The Demon", is an Israeli-born American musician. He was the bassist and co-lead singer of the hard rock band Kiss (band), Kiss, which he co-founded with Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss in the early 1970s until their retirement in 2023. Simmons was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as a member of Kiss. Early life and education Simmons was born Chaim Witz on August 25, 1949, at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Israel, to Jewish refugees from Hungary. Kiss (band)
Kiss (commonly styled as KISS) was an American rock music, rock band formed in New York City in 1973 by Paul Stanley (vocals, rhythm guitar), Gene Simmons (vocals, bass guitar), Ace Frehley (lead guitar, vocals) and Peter Criss (drums, vocals).
