Sagat (rapper)
Sagat is an American rapper. He also works as a producer under the alias Jump Chico Slamm (or Jump "Chico" Slamm). He had a major hit in 1994 with "Why Is It? (Funk Dat)". He then produced a follow-up single, "Luvstuff". These songs charted at Christmas time on the UK Singles Chart in 1993 and 1994. "Luvstuff" gained support from DJs such as Pete Tong, Jon Carter and Judge Jules. In 1994, he released his album, ''My Poem Is... The World According To Sagat'', containing his hits "Why Is It? Julius O'Riordan (born 26 October 1965), better known by his stage name Judge Jules, is a British dance music DJ, record producer and entertainment lawyer. Maxi Records was an independent dance record label. Jon Carter (born 1970 in Essex, England) is an English electronic musician. He initially rose to prominence in the 1990s as a big beat DJ. However, as his career progressed both his productions and his DJ sets began including a variety of musical styles. Peter Michael Tong (born 30 July 1960) is an English DJ who works for BBC Radio 1. He is the host of programmes such as '' Essential Mix'' and '' Essential Selection'' on the radio service, which can be heard through Internet radio streams, for his record label FFRR Records and for his own performances at nightclubs and music festivals.
