Saencherng Pinsinchai
Saencherng Pinsinchai ( th, แสนเชิง ปิ่นสินชัย) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter. He was a five weight Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium champion during the 1980s. Biography & career Saencherng was born in 1967 in the Buriram province, he started training in Muay Thai along with his brothers. He fought from a young age in the northeastern regions of Thailand. In 1981 he was scouted by the Pinsinchai camp and went to live in Bangkok where he earned his ring name. Saencherng was one of the most dominant fighters of his time winning stadium titles at five different weights between 1983 and 1989. He faced and beat some of the most notable fighters of his era such as Paruhatlek Sitchunthong, Chamuekpet Hapalang, Chanchai Sor Tamarangsri Samransak Muangsurin, Manasak Sor Ploenchit and Jaroenthong Kiatbanchong. Nang Rong District
Nang Rong ( th, นางรอง, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Buriram province, northeastern Thailand. The district lies approximately 50 km south-southwest of Buriram City. Jaroenthong Kiatbanchong
Jaroenthong Kiatbanchong ( th, เจริญทอง เกียรติบ้านช่อง; born: June 11, 1968 in Tambon Thung Yai, Amphoe Thung Yai, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand) is a retired Thai Muay Thai kickboxer. He is very popular and famous in the 80s and early 90s, which is considered a golden era of Muay Thai. Biography & career Jaroenthong (nicknamed: Ped; เป็ด; lit: "Duck") was born in a family of fighters in southern Thailand. Jampatong Na Nontachai ( th, จำปาทอง ณ นนทชัย) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter who fought in the 70s to 90s. He was a Rajadamnern Stadium Champion with notable wins over Saencherng Pinsinchai, Sangtiennoi Sor.Rungroj, Chamuekpet Hapalang, and Samart Payakaroon. Indoor Stadium Huamark ( th, อินดอร์ สเตเดียม หัวหมาก, , ) is an indoor sporting arena, located in Bangkok, Thailand. The original capacity of the arena is 15,000 spectators and it was built in 1966 for the 5th Asian Games. Lumpinee Stadium
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium ( th, สนามเวทีมวยลุมพินี) is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Opened more than a decade later than Rajadamnern Stadium, Lumpinee is run by the Royal Thai Army. It has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai. Only Rajadamnern Stadium rivals the prestige of holding the title of "Muay Thai Champion of Lumpinee". The ranking system and championship titles are held from mini flyweight (105 lb) up to super welterweight (154 lb). Muay Thai bouts are held on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Manasak Sor Ploenchit ( th, มานะศักดิ์ ส.เพลินจิต; born December 7, 1965, in Klaeng District) was a Muay Thai fighter from Thailand. Biography and career Manasak was born in the Rayong Province where he started Muay Thai during the mid 1970s. He rapidly reached the Bangkok circuit where he had a few fights under the name Manasak Asawamongkol, he then went back to fight in eastern Thailand where he became regional champion. Manasak then joined the Sor Ploenchit camp in Bangkok under the teaching of Sathien Sathiensut and became a successful fighter. During his prime in the 1980s Manasak was known as a highly skilled fighter with a complete arsenal and some of the sharpest eyes in the ring.
