Sportvereniging Door Ons Samenspel Komt Overwinning, usually known as SV DOSKO, is a football club from Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands. They play their home matches at the Sportpark Meilust. The club's colours are red and yellow. History Early years SV DOSKO was founded on 1 March 1908. The club uniform was a red-yellow shirt and black shorts. A year later, DOSKO decided to play in a competition and not without success. First under the auspices of the Brabantse Voetbalbond, a regional league, but a couple of years after they start to play in the NVB, the National League. In the 1912–13 Netherlands Football League Championship, 1912–13 season, DOSKO is placed in the Derde Klasse. Bergen op Zoom (; called ''Berrege'' in the Brabantian dialect, local dialect) is a List of cities in the Netherlands by province, city and Municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality in southwestern Netherlands. KNVB Cup
The KNVB Beker (; ), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organised by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The tournament consists of all teams from the top four tiers of Dutch league football (Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie, Tweede Divisie and Derde Divisie), as well as the 24 semi-finalists (or replacements) of the six KNVB District Cups. The finals of the tournament traditionally takes place in De Kuip, and has been held there every season since the 1989 final. The Tweede Klasse () is the seventh tier of football in the Netherlands and the fifth tier of Dutch amateur football. Louis Overbeeke (6 September 1926 – 8 July 1989) was a Dutch footballer who played as a forward. He gained 3 caps for the Netherlands national team. Career Born in Hoogerheide, Overbeeke played mainly for DOSKO and NAC, beside his hometown club METO. As a player, he was renowned for his a quick movements and powerful strike. 1958–59 Tweede Divisie
The Dutch Tweede Divisie in the 1958–59 season was contested by 29 teams, fifteen of which playing in group A, fourteen in group B. Teams occupying the lowest two places from each group at the end of the season, would have to play in a relegation play-off (however, two teams chose to relegate to amateur football immediately). That play-off would not be played this season, but in the next. The worst placed teams from that year would also enter. In the play-off (played after the 1959–60 season), teams would play against relegation to amateur football. FC Blauw-Wit Amsterdam () was a Dutch football club from Amsterdam. The name referred to the colours of their uniform, blue and white. History Founded on 10 May 1902 as a local club in the Kinkerbuurt area of Amsterdam, from 1928 it started to play its home matches in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. The club entered professional football in the Netherlands in 1954. In 1972 the club merged with Volewijckers and DWS to form FC Amsterdam. Rinus Bennaars (14 October 1931 – 8 November 2021) was a Dutch professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Bennaars started his career before professional football was established in the Netherlands. When professional football was introduced in the country, Bennaars and SV DOSKO began playing in the Dutch Second Division. After three years at DOSKO, Bennaars joined NOAD for one season before transferring to Feijenoord. In his second season with Feijenoord, Bennaars won his first trophy when the club won the Eredivisie. They retained the title the following season, and Bennaars was recalled to the Netherlands national team again, nine years after his last call-up. He left Feijenoord after five seasons and went to play another two years in the Second Division at DFC, where he won the championship of that division in his first season. TSV NOAD
TSV NOAD was an association football club based in Tilburg, Netherlands. Founded in 1910, the club played at the Eredivisie, highest level of Football in the Netherlands, Dutch football between 1918 and 1961. History NOAD was founded on 5 June 1910. Unlike most other clubs in North Brabant, the club was not formed as Catholic Church in the Netherlands, Roman Catholic but was rather secular. Initially, NOAD mainly played friendly matches against Roman Catholic institutes. Many so-called Roman Catholic clubs were not allowed by the clergy to play the "savages" of NOAD. The first competitive league matches were played as Brabantian Football Association (BVB).
