TSV NOAD
TSV NOAD was an association football club based in Tilburg, Netherlands. Founded in 1910, the club played at the Eredivisie, highest level of Football in the Netherlands, Dutch football between 1918 and 1961. History NOAD was founded on 5 June 1910. Unlike most other clubs in North Brabant, the club was not formed as Catholic Church in the Netherlands, Roman Catholic but was rather secular. Initially, NOAD mainly played friendly matches against Roman Catholic institutes. Many so-called Roman Catholic clubs were not allowed by the clergy to play the "savages" of NOAD. The first competitive league matches were played as Brabantian Football Association (BVB). In November 1917, the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) placed NOAD in the Tweede Klasse, National 2nd Klasse B. Leen Vente
Leendert Roelof Jan "Leen" Vente (14 May 19119 November 1989) was a Dutch footballer who played as a striker. He earned 21 caps and scored 19 goals for the Netherlands national football team, and played in the 1934 and 1938 World Cups. Playing career Vente started in the Rotterdam Football Association for Semper Melior and later for Pro Patria. He eventually joined Neptunus where he initially also participated in athletics. In April 1936, Vente moved to Feyenoord. He was one of the players that participated in the opening match of stadium De Kuip in 1937. Feyenoord played Beerschot and won 5–2. Vente scored the first ever goal in the stadium, and finished the game with a hat-trick. Vente would finish his tenure with the club with 82 league appearances in which he scored 65 goals. John William Julian (10 July 1867 – 14 March 1957) was an English football player and coach. Career Born in Boston, Lincolnshire, he first played for his local side Boston Excelsior, then Boston. He impressed in a home match for Boston Town against Royal Arsenal on Good Friday in 1889, and Arsenal then arranged a job for him at the Royal Arsenal factory so that he could play for their team. He played in Arsenal's very first FA Cup tie, against Lyndhurst on 5 October 1889, and soon earned a reputation as a determined and tough-tackling wing-half. He became club captain in 1890, and was still captain when Arsenal turned professional in 1891. John George "Tim" Coleman MM (26 October 1881 – 20 November 1940) was an English footballer who played as a forward for Kettering Town, Northampton Town, Woolwich Arsenal, Everton, Sunderland, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Queen Park Rangers and Tunbridge Wells Rangers.
