SSS Village
There are 16 barangays in Marikina, a city in Metro Manila, Philippines. The most recent barangays to be created are Fortune and Tumana, which in 2007 were separated from Barangay Parang and Barangay Concepcion Uno respectively. Barangka Barangka is named after the Spanish canyon, barranca. It is located along the western border of Marikina, is bordered on the west by Loyola Heights in Quezon City; to the south City; to the south by barangays Industrial Valley and Calumpang; to the east by Tañong; and the north by Loyola Grand Villas. On its south portion lies the Marikina River where the Riverbanks Center is located. Barangka actually lies on the hills of Quezon City, not too far from the Marikina fault system. Marikina (), officially the City of Marikina (), is a Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, highly urbanized city in the Metro Manila, National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 456,159 people. The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned, commonly known as the Church of Marikina, is a Roman Catholic church in Marikina, the Philippines. The church enshrines one of several images of the Madonna and Child venerated as miraculous, which has received a Pontifical decree of coronation. Marikina Sports Complex
The Marikina Sports Center, also known as Marikina Sports Park and formerly known as Rodriguez Sports Center, is a sports complex located in Marikina, at the corner of Shoe Avenue and Sumulong Highway in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the current home venue of the Marikina Verdiamonds Jewellers in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and the Pilipinas Super League, and its volleyball counterpart, the Marikina Lady Shoemasters of the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association (MPVA).
