SM Classics
SM Classics () is a South Korean classical music label under SM Entertainment. It was established in June 2020 through the memorandum of understanding signed by SM and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. The label will release songs of SM arranged in orchestral arrangement through the mutual cooperation and presentation of differentiated content beyond genres. History On June 10, 2020, SM Entertainment and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the orchestra's practice room in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The MoU will focus on "expanding and developing" cultural content through collaboration between genres. Lee Sung-soo, the chief executive officer of SM, and Kang Eun-kyung, the CEO of Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, attended the signing ceremony. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is a song written in 1943 by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 MGM musical '' Meet Me in St. Louis''. SM Town Live (stylized as SMTOWN LIVE) is a series of concert tours held by SM Entertainment, in which artists in the label would unite and perform together in a three-to-five-hour long concert. The show consisting of each artist's own performance as well as a special stage where artists join together and perform. "Black Mamba" is the debut single by South Korean girl group Aespa. Originally released as a standalone single on November 17, 2020, by SM Entertainment, the song was later included on the group's second extended play ''Girls (Aespa EP), Girls'', which was released on July 8, 2022.
