Ryan Shaw (rugby League)
Ryan Shaw (born 26 September 1992) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays or for the Barrow Raiders in Betfred Championship. Shaw is a product of the Warrington Wolves academy, spending time on loan from Warrington at the Castleford Tigers and the London Broncos in the Super League, the Leigh Centurions and the Swinton Lions in the Co-operative Championship, Barrow in the Championship 1 and the Co-operative Championship. He played for the Bradford Bulls in the Kingstone Press Championship, before signing for Hull Kingston Rovers in the top flight of English rugby league. Barrow-in-Furness
Barrow-in-Furness is a port town in Cumbria, England. Historically in Lancashire, it was incorporated as a municipal borough in 1867 and merged with Dalton-in-Furness Urban District in 1974 to form the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness. In 2023 the borough will merge with Eden and South Lakeland districts to form a new unitary authority; Westmorland and Furness. 2015 Bradford Bulls Season
This article details the Bradford Bulls rugby league football club's 2015 season, the Bulls 1st season in the Championship. Season review July 2014 Bradford were beaten 52-26 by Huddersfield Giants in Round 21 which confirmed their relegation into the Championship. Following this news Lee Gaskell and Dale Ferguson both signed new deals at the Bulls keeping them at Odsal until the end of the 2016 season. It was announced that loan signing Jamal Fakir would be returning home to France to join Lezignan after his loan expired in the off season. RFU Championship
The RFU Championship is an English rugby union competition comprising twelve clubs. It is the second level of men’s English rugby and is played by both professional and semi-professional players. The competition has existed since 1987, when English clubs were first organised into leagues. Organisation and format The Championship is governed by the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The Sheffield Eagles are a professional rugby league club that play in the Betfred Championship. The club play their home games at the Olympic Legacy Park (OLP) on the former site of Don Valley Stadium, their former ground. The Dewsbury Rams are a professional English rugby league club based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire that compete in the Championship. They play their home games at the Tetley's Stadium, on Owl Lane. Featherstone Rovers are a professional rugby league club in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, England, who play in the Championship. Featherstone is a former coal mining town with a population of around 16,000 and Rovers are one of the last "small town teams" which were common in rugby league in the early 20th century.
