2015 Bradford Bulls Season
This article details the Bradford Bulls rugby league football club's 2015 season, the Bulls 1st season in the Championship. Season review July 2014 Bradford were beaten 52-26 by Huddersfield Giants in Round 21 which confirmed their relegation into the Championship. Following this news Lee Gaskell and Dale Ferguson both signed new deals at the Bulls keeping them at Odsal until the end of the 2016 season. It was announced that loan signing Jamal Fakir would be returning home to France to join Lezignan after his loan expired in the off season. Prop forward Manase Manuokafoa also announced that he would leave the Bulls to play for the Widnes Vikings in the Super League for the 2015 season and onwards, meanwhile scrum half Luke Gale would join the Castleford Tigers to replace Marc Sneyd. Championship (rugby League)
The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, League One. The league announced a two-year sponsorship deal with the bookmaking company Betfred ahead of the 2018 season. Widnes Vikings
The Widnes Vikings are an English rugby league club in Widnes, Cheshire, which competes in the Betfred Championship. The club plays home matches at the Halton Stadium. Founded as Widnes Football Club, they are one of the original twenty-two rugby clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895. Etuate Uaisele (born 12 December 1984) is a Tongan rugby league footballer who last played for the Dewsbury Rams in the Kingstone Press Championship. He plays as a winger or centre. Biography Early life Etu, short for Etuate was born in Tonga an island nation in the South Pacific. He later migrated to New Zealand in 1996 where he first started his rugby career. Growing up in South Auckland, Uaisele attended Ferguson Intermediate in Otara, he later joined Otahuhu College where he became one of the most talented students of the school. Featherstone Rovers
Featherstone Rovers are a professional rugby league club in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, England, who play in the Championship. Featherstone is a former coal mining town with a population of around 16,000 and Rovers are one of the last "small town teams" which were common in rugby league in the early 20th century.
