Runar Hove
Runar Ullaland Hove (born 8 August 1995) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a centre-back. Career Hove was born in the town of Florø and started his senior career with Florø SK in 2011. He stayed with the club for eight seasons. On 20 December 2018, he signed a three-year contract with Eliteserien club Viking. Despite being sidelined for two months with a knee injury, Hove played regularly throughout the 2019 season, amassing 24 appearances in total. He was also a starter in the victorious cup final against Haugesund the same year. In the third round of the 2020 Eliteserien, he suffered a hamstring injury that would keep him sidelined for the rest of the season. On 26 August 2021, he signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with fellow Eliteserien club Brann. Brann were relegated after a play-off match where Hove was sent off and the match was decided on penalties. He retired after the 2022 season at the age of 27. Florø
is a town and the administrative centre of the municipality of Kinn, Vestland, Norway. The town was founded by royal decree in 1860 as a ladested on the island of Florelandet, located between the Botnafjorden and Solheimsfjorden. The Norwegian Football Cup ( no, Norgesmesterskapet i fotball for herrer) is the main knockout cup competition in Norwegian football. It is run by the Football Association of Norway and has been contested since 1902, making it the oldest football tournament in the country. The tournament is commonly known as ''Cupen'' ("The Cup"), NM or NM Cup (''NM Cupen''), an acronym formed from ''Norgesmesterskap'' ("Norwegian Championship"). These terms are used to describe both the men's and women's competitions. The equivalent competition for women's teams is the Norwegian Women's Football Cup. 2021 Viking FK Season
The 2021 season was Viking's 3rd consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 71st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. The club participated in the Eliteserien and the Norwegian Cup. It was the club's first season with Bjarte Lunde Aarsheim and Morten Jensen as managers. Viking ended the Eliteserien season in 3rd place, the club's first top-three finish since 2007.
