The 2020 season was Viking's 2nd consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 70th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. The club participated in the Eliteserien and the UEFA Europa League. The Norwegian Cup was cancelled. Zymer Bytyqi (born 11 September 1996) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Konyaspor. Arild Østbø (born 19 April 1991) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Viking. Career Østbø was born in Stavanger and joined the senior team of Viking FK in 2008. Even Østensen (born 2 June 1993) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a forward for Staal Jørpeland. Career On 2 August 2018, Østensen signed a six month contract with Viking. He signed a contract extension after the 2018 season. After the 2020 season, his contract expired and he left the club. In January 2021, Østensen announced his retirement from football, however one month later he returned to his former club Staal Jørpeland. Johnny Furdal (born 4 May 1986) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Furdal has spent most of his career playing for Nest-Sotra. Yann-Erik Randa Bahezre de Lanlay (born 14 May 1992) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a winger for Viking in Eliteserien.
