2024–25 Brunei Super League
The 2024–25 Brunei Super League was the tenth season of the Brunei Super League, the top football league in Brunei since its establishment in 2012. The league began on 30 August 2024 and concluded on 7 February 2025. The official match ball is manufactured by Kelme. On 2 February 2025, Kasuka FC became the champions for the second consecutive time by beating DPMM FC II at Jerudong Park Mini Stadium 2–3 in their final fixture. Teams A total of 14 teams competed in this edition of the Brunei Super League. Prior to the league's opening fixtures, BAKES FC and IKLS-MB5 FC announced on their respective social media accounts of their withdrawal from the new season. Soldadu ( U) Mohammad Shafie bin Haji Mohammad Efenddy (born 4 August 1995) is a Bruneian international footballer who plays for MS ABDB of the Brunei Super League and the Brunei national football team. He is adept at playing on either flank or as a striker. Club career Shafie started his club career with the Brunei Youth Team in 2011, playing in the Brunei Premier League II. He then laced up for IKLS FC in the 2014 Brunei Premier League. The following year, he played for Tabuan Muda, a league team that was formed by the NFABD to prepare for international competitions. Sergeant Mohammad Baharin bin Hamidon (born 8 November 1987) is a Bruneian footballer who plays for MS ABDB as a midfielder. Club career From 2008 to 2021, Baharin played at the highest division in Bruneian football for the football team of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces' sports club, MS ABDB. He has won four league titles, six FA Cups and two Super Cups with the Armymen. Baharin scored in the final of the 2014–15 FA Cup and repeated his feat in 2016. Lance Corporal ( U) Mohamad Hibatur Rahman bin Mohamad (born 1 January 2000) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a defender for MS ABDB and the Brunei national team. Club career Hibatur began playing league football with Rimba Star FC of the Brunei Premier League in 2017. He scored his first league goal away against BSRC FC in a 3–1 loss on 14 May. Lance sergeant (LSgt or L/Sgt) is a military appointment in the armies of the Commonwealth and formerly also a rank in the United States Army.
