Rosenhauer
Wilhelm Gottlieb Rosenhauer (11 September 1813 – 13 June 1881) was a German physician and zoologist who specialized in entomology. He was a professor at the University of Erlangen. Rosenhauer studied medicine and then moved to the natural sciences, particularly zoology and received a doctorate for studies on ground and diving beetles in 1838. The Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (, FAU) is a Public University, public research university in the cities of Erlangen and Nuremberg in Bavaria, Germany. The name Friedrich-Alexander is derived from the university's first founder Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, Friedrich, Margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, and its benefactor Alexander, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach. FAU is a member of the German Research Foundation DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
