Ronan Steede
Ronan Steede (born 1991/1992) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Corofin and the Galway county team. A player during Corofin's run of three consecutive All-Ireland Club SFC titles from 2018 until 2020, Steede received recognition from the AIB GAA Club Player Awards for his performances during the third of those competitions when he was selected for inclusion on the Team of the Year and, later, chosen as Footballer of the Year. Gaelic football (; short name '')'', commonly known as simply Gaelic, GAA, or football, is an Irish team sport. A form of football, it is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch. The objective of the sport is to score by kicking or palming the ball into the other team's Goal (sport), goal (3 points) or between two upright posts above the goal and over a crossbar above the ground (1 point). Players advance the ball up the field with a combination of carrying, bouncing, kicking, hand-passing, and soloing (dropping the ball and then toe-kicking the ball upward into the hands). Corofin GAA is a Gaelic football club based in Corofin, County Galway, Ireland. It is a member of the Galway branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The club serves the two parishes of Cummer and Kilmoylan and the village of Belclare. Corofin are the 2019–20 All-Ireland Club Champions, after winning their third-successive All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship final by defeating Kilcoo of Down in January 2020. AIB GAA Club Player Awards
The AIB GAA Club Player Awards (also referred to as Club All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football following the completion of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. Additionally, one person is selected as Player of the Year. The ceremony occurs at Croke Park, with the first event having taken place on the evening of Saturday 21 April 2018. Pádraic Joyce (born 1 April 1977) is a Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager and former player who played as a forward. He has been manager of the senior Galway county football team, Galway county team since 2019.
