Roman De Salvo
Roman de Salvo ''(born 1965)'' is a contemporary American conceptual artist who creates sculpture and installation art. Biography Roman de Salvo was born in San Francisco, California, in 1965 and grew up in Reno, Nevada. De Salvo graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California, in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. In 1995 he completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of California, San Diego. De Salvo lives and works in San Diego. Alvarado Medical Center (San Diego Trolley Station)
Alvarado Medical Center station is a station on San Diego Trolley's Green Line in the College Area. It is one of the San Diego Trolley network's newer stations, having opened in 2005. The street-level station has side platforms. It is located near the intersection of Alvarado Rd. and Reservoir Dr. The station is located across the street from the Alvarado Medical Center. Besides the hospital and the College Area, portions of the residential neighborhood of Del Cerro are also accessible from the stop. Station layout There are two tracks, each served by a side platform. Alvarado riddle One of the most noticeable features of the station is a riddle, engraved into the tiles on the wall that separates the station from the freeway. Joseph Waters
Joseph Martin Waters ''(born 1952)'' is an American classical composer. He also mounts experimental electronic music festivals attempting to bridge the gap between contemporary popular genres and the avant-garde Western classical tradition. Creative Projects In 2011 Orchestra Nova conductor Jung-Ho Pak commissioned Waters to create a double concerto for violin (featuring Lindsay Deutsch) and alto saxophone (featuring Todd Rewoldt) on the subject of the ocean. The resultant work, entitled "Surf" was premiered by the orchestra on May 11, 12 & 14, 2012. "Surf" also featured live electronics, performed by the composer, and live video created by Brooklyn artist Zuriel Waters and performed via software created by Chris Warren. California State Route 94
State Route 94 (SR 94) is a state highway in the U.S. state of California that is long. The western portion, known as the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway, begins at Interstate 5 (I-5) in Downtown San Diego and continues to the end of the freeway portion past SR 125 in Spring Valley. The non-freeway segment of SR 94 that continues east through the mountains to I-8 near Boulevard is known as Campo Road. The Campo road served as a wagon road providing access to eastern San Diego County as well as Imperial County.
