Rollin Josiah Dutton
Rollin Josiah Dutton (August 21, 1884 – July 18, 1955) was an American businessman and politician. Dutton was born on a farm in Crystal Lake Township, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He graduated from Minnesota North High School (North Community High School) in 1904. Dutton lived in Robbinsdale, Minnesota and was the secretary-treasurer of the Minneapolis National Farm Loan Association. He served as the Crystal, Minnesota Village Recorder for eight years. Hennepin County ( ) is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Its county seat is Minneapolis, the state's most populous city. North Community High School, or simply Minneapolis North, is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The school has existed for over 120 years in several buildings all located on the city's northside. Minneapolis North once had a predominantly Jewish student body but by 1982, the school and the neighborhood it is located in had become mostly African American. Desegregation efforts, such as magnet school programs, have attempted to attract students from throughout Minneapolis and nearby suburbs. Minnesota State Highway 100 and County Road 81 are two of the main routes in the city. History Shortly after the Minnesota Territorial Legislative Assembly created Hennepin County in 1852, John C. Bohanon filed the first claim in the Township of Crystal Lake. Railroads didn't reach the area until 1880.
