Rolf Lauper
Rolf Lauper (17 January 1960 – 18 August 2006) was a Swiss footballer who played in the late 1970s, the 1980s and early 1990s as defender. Lauper played his youth football with Young Fellows Zürich and advanced to their first team during their promotion season 1976–77 from the Nationalliga B, the second tier of Swiss football. Lauper stayed with the club in the 1977–78 Nationalliga A. But this was not a successful season and the club suffered relegation. Before the 1978–79 Nationalliga A season, Lauper signed a contract with Grasshopper Club. He stayed with the club for two and a half years, before he moved on to FC Wettingen who at that time played in the Nationalliga B. With Wettingen in the 1981–82 Nationalliga B season Lauper won promotion. He stayed with the club for one more season. Bergdietikon
Bergdietikon is a municipality in the district of Baden in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is located in the Limmat Valley (German: ''Limmattal''). History Bergdietikon was originally part of the municipality of Dietikon in the Swiss County of Baden and was part of the short lived Canton of Baden. Following the Act of Mediation in 1803, the Canton of Baden was dismantled and the municipality of Dietikon was split. The mountain settlements in the west became the ''Berggemeinde Dietikon'' (Mountain municipality of Dietikon) until 1840 when it was renamed Bergdietikon. While Dietikon went to the Canton of Zurich, Bergdietikon went to Aargau. 1983–84 FC Basel Season
The Fussball Club Basel 1893 1983–84 season was their 90th season since the club was founded. It was their 38th consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football after they won promotion during the season 1945–46. They played their home games in the St. Jakob Stadium. Urs Gribi was their newly appointed chairman, he replaced Roland Rasi who stood down at the AGM after just one year chairmanship. Grasshoppers are a group of insects belonging to the suborder Caelifera.
