Nikki de Roest ( Heerjansdam, 4 April 1993) is a Dutch educator and a former association football player, who played professionally in 2012–2013 season for PSV/FC Eindhoven. She played internationally for the Netherlands in young soccer selections. De Roest plays as a midfielder. At present she plays futsal. Patrick Roest
Patrick Roest (; born 7 December 1995) is a Dutch professional long track speed skater who has won the World Allround Speed Skating Championships three times. He is a member of the commercial team of Team Reggeborgh. Career In Bjugn, Norway, in 2014, Roest became World Junior Champion Allround and he successfully defended his world title in 2015 in Warsaw, Poland. On 12 November he was part of the Dutch team that won the team pursuit event at the first World Cup of the 2016/17 season. Roest was awarded the KNSB Cup for his 1500 m performance at the KNSB Cup in October 2016. On 13 February 2018 Roest won a silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics for the Men's 1500 metres, behind compatriot Kjeld Nuis, with a time of 1:44.86. Meijer Marcusz Roest (19 December 1821, in Amsterdam – 20 November 1889, in Amsterdam) was a Dutch bibliographer. Theodorus Marinus Roest van Limburg (8 July 1806, Rotterdam – 3 March 1887, Florence) was a Dutch journalist, diplomat, and politician. Early life Theodorus Marinus was the son of Jacob Adriaan Roest van Limburg, merchant in wine at Rotterdam and Antwerpen, and Sara Cornelia Rochussen. He studied law in Liège, Ghent and Leiden (1827-1831). Career He worked at the Departments of Colonies and Foreign Affairs. From 1837 till 1841 he served as editor of the liberal newspaper '' Arnhemsche Courant''. His diplomatic career started in 1842, when he was named secretary of the Dutch Legation in Vienna. Theodorus Marinus Roest (14 April 1832, Dongen – 2 September 1898 Baden-Baden) was a Dutch numismatist and conservator of the numismatic collection of the Teylers Museum. In 1872 he was appointed ''associé étranger'' of the ''Sociéte royale de numismatique'', and became publisher of ''Reveu de la numismatique belge''. He became an authority on numismatics. In 1876 he became director of the Academisch Penningkabinet in Leiden. In 1881 he resigned when that cabinet was absorbed into the '' Royal cabinet of medals'' (which today is part of the :nl:Geldmuseum in Utrecht). Through the efforts of the archivist of the city of Haarlem Adriaan Justus Enschedé, Roest was hired to catalog the collection of the Teylers Museum.
