Nikki De Roest
Nikki de Roest ( Heerjansdam, 4 April 1993) is a Dutch educator and a former association football player, who played professionally in 2012–2013 season for PSV/FC Eindhoven. She played internationally for the Netherlands in young soccer selections. De Roest plays as a midfielder. At present she plays futsal. Football career De Roest played initially played on boys teams of VV Heerjansdam and from 2010 at ASWH. From 2011 she started playing on women's teams, initially one year at the Ridderkerk-side RVVH in the Hoofdklasse. Dutch International teams In 2009 De Roest played in Netherlands U–16, gaining 3 caps in total. In 2009-2010 she continued her international career in Netherlands U–17, where she had 8 caps. Heerjansdam
Heerjansdam () is a village in the western Netherlands, in the municipality of Zwijndrecht, South Holland. It has a population of 3,590. History It was originally called "''Heren Heyenland''", a name which first appeared in a document from 1323. In 1331, Hendrik of Brederode started to build dikes around the Zwijndrechtse Waard. This project was financed by eight other persons, including Jan of Rosendaele, who subsequently were made landlords of the Waard. On November 25, 1368, Jan of Rosendaele renamed it to Heerjansdam (Dutch for "Lord John's dam"), after the dam on the Waaltje. ASWH, short for Altijd Sterker Worden Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, is an association football club from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1929. The club won section championships in 1949, 1959, 1961, 1970, 1883, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2005.
