Robert Neville (bishop)
Robert Neville (1404 – 8 or 9 July 1457) was an English prelate who served as Bishop of Salisbury and Bishop of Durham. He was also a provost of Beverley. He was born at Raby Castle. His father was Ralph Neville and his mother was Joan Beaufort, daughter of John of Gaunt. He was thus a highly placed member of the English aristocracy. Neville was nominated Bishop of Salisbury on 9 July 1427, and consecrated on 26 October 1427. He was then translated to Durham on 27 January 1438.Fryde, et al. Robert G. M. Neville (May 12, 1905 – February 17, 1970) was an American newspaper and magazine reporter who, in a 40-year career, covered the Spanish Civil War, World War II and the Korean War, working for ''The New York Times'', ''New York Post'', ''New York Herald Tribune'', '' PM'' and, starting in 1937, ''Time'' magazine, where he remained for two and, subsequently, 13 years, rising in 1938 to become the publication's foreign news editor. Robert Neville (Royal Marines Officer)
Major-General Sir Robert Arthur Ross Neville, KCMG, CBE (17 December 1896 – 12 June 1987) was a British Royal Marines officer who served in both world wars. He was later Governor of the Bahamas from 1950 to 1953. Early life and education Neville was born the son of a British Army officer and educated at Cheltenham College before joining the Royal Marines in 1914 at the age of 17. Robert Cummings Neville (born May 1, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.) is an American systematic philosopher and theologian, author of numerous books and papers, and ex-Dean of the Boston University School of Theology. He is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy, Religion, and Theology at Boston University. J. Harley Chapman and Nancy Frankenberry, editors of a festschrift—a collection of critical essays written in Neville's honor—entitled ''Interpreting Neville'', consider him to be "one of the most significant philosophers and theologians of our time". Robert S. Nevil (born October 2, 1958) is an American pop singer, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist who had five ''Billboard'' top 40 hits including his songs " C'est la Vie" (#2, 1986), "Dominoes" (#14, 1987), and " Wot's It to Ya" (#10, 1987).
