Robert Janson (born 7 June 1965 in Czeladź) is a Polish composer, singer, guitarist, leader and co-founder of pop band Varius Manx. Czeladź
Czeladź () is a town in Zagłębie Dąbrowskie (part of historic Lesser Poland), in southern Poland, near Katowice and Sosnowiec. Located in the Silesian Highlands, on the Brynica river (tributary of the Vistula), it is the oldest urban center of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. The area of Czeladź is 16 km2, and it borders Będzin, Sosnowiec, Katowice and Siemianowice Śląskie. The town is situated in the Silesian Voivodeship. Fryderyk
The Fryderyk is the annual award in Polish music. Its name refers to the original Polish spelling variant of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin's first name. Its status in the Polish public can be compared to the US Grammy and British BRIT Award. Officially created in 1994 and presented for the first time in 1995, the award was initially conferred by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (''Związek Producentów Audio-Video'', ZPAV). Since 1999, nominees and winners have been selected by a body called Phonographic Academy (''Akademia Fonograficzna'') which by now consists of nearly 1000 artists, journalists and music industry professionals. Monika Kuszyńska (born 14 January 1980) is a Polish singer and songwriter. She represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song " In the Name of Love" and was previously the lead singer of the Polish pop rock band Varius Manx. Life and career Kuszyńska entered the Polish music scene in 2000, when she was selected as the new vocalist of the Polish pop rock band Varius Manx, replacing Kasia Stankiewicz. Milicz () is a town in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of Milicz County and of Gmina Milicz, part of the larger Wrocław metropolitan area. Anita Lipnicka (born 13 June 1975) is a Polish singer and songwriter. Biography Anita Lipnicka was born in Piotrków Trybunalski. Her career as a singer started in Varius Manx, a band with which she achieved success. In 1996, she decided to pursue a solo career, left the band, and moved to London, where she recorded her first solo album. The album, titled ''Wszystko się może zdarzyć'' (''Everything Can Happen'') became a success. In 1998, Lipnicka released her second solo album, T''o, co naprawdę'' (''What Is Real''). In 2000, her third solo album ''Moje oczy sa zielone'' (''My eyes are green,'' was released. In 2001, Lipnicka started to work with John Porter. The Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (; ZPAV) is the trade organization that represents the interests of the music industry in Poland, and the Polish chapter of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
