Roberto Alejandro Avellanet Negrón (born June 30, 1975), known professionally as Robert Avellanet or Roberto Avellanet, is a Puerto Rican singer who was a member of '' Menudo''. Avellanet's uncle is the famous Puerto Rican singer Chucho Avellanet. Biography Avellanet was born in San Juan. He became a teen idol in Puerto Rico and across Latin America after being hired by Edgardo Diaz as a member of ''Menudo'' in 1988. He joined the group during the era popularly known as ''Menudos ''Rock era''. Avellanet's CD debut came when ''Menudo'' recorded ''Sombras & Figuras'', title of an album that produced hits for the group. Then came ''Los Ultimos Heroes'', which was released in Portuguese as ''Os Ultimos Herois'', and ''No Me Corten El Pelo''. The Tropical Airplay chart (formerly known as Tropical/Salsa and Tropical Songs) is a record chart published by ''Billboard'' magazine introduced in 1994. The first number-one song on the chart was " Quien Eres Tu" by Luis Enrique. Carlos Javier Rivera Masso (born June 13, 1969 in San Juan, Puerto Rico), better known as Charlie Masso, is a Puerto Rican singer and actor. Masso is a former member of Menudo, joining the band at the height of Menudo's worldwide fame. He replaced Rene Farrait and quickly became a fan favorite with his participation on the albums of ''Por Amor'' and '' Una Aventura Llamada Menudo'', which was the soundtrack of Menudo's second movie. Ray Reyes León (March 13, 1970 – April 30, 2021) was a Puerto Rican singer who was a member of the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. Career He was born in New York City and was raised in Levittown, a neighborhood in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. He became a member of Menudo in early 1983. Reyes came to substitute Xavier Serbia in the band, and joined the band right in the middle of Menudo's golden era. Reyes amassed great popularity among Menudo fans, although he was known as the ''chubby one'' of the band. Venevisión () is a Venezuelan free-to-air television channel and one of Venezuela's largest television networks, owned by the Cisneros Media division of Grupo Cisneros.
