Gloria Trevi
Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz (born February 15, 1968), known professionally as Gloria Trevi, is a Mexican singer, songwriter and actress. She is known for her emotional lyrics, performances, and lasting influence on Latin music, being dubbed the "Honorific nicknames in popular music, Mexican Queen of Pop" by ''Rolling Stone''. She is also known for the media coverage surrounding the Trevi–Andrade scandal, involving sexual abuse and forced labour led by her former Talent manager, manager-Record producer, producer Sergio Andrade. At 15, she moved to Mexico City to study performing arts at Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística, CEA. A year later, she met Sergio Andrade and joined his girl group Boquitas Pintadas, which disbanded after an unsuccessful album in 1985.
