She served as the Secretary of State for Gender Equality, Equal Opportunities and Diversity and Deputy to the Minister of Mobility in the De Croo Government from 2 May 2023 until 3 February 2025. The De Wever government is the incumbent federal government of Belgium after the 2024 Belgian federal election.
