Roadmender (nightclub)
Roadmender (also known as Northampton Roadmender or the Roadmender Centre) is a live music venue in Lady's Lane, Northampton, England. Housed in a former school building, the venue has become an iconic part of the town's cultural landscape. As the only major live venue in Northampton, Roadmender has played a significant role in shaping the experiences of generations of local music enthusiasts. It remains the most recognised indie club remaining in regular operation, particularly following the closures of Bass Clef in 1999 and the Irish Centre in 1997. History The Roadmender started life as a youth club built in an entirely different location to the one on which it operates today. Finch is an American rock band from Temecula, California. The band is best known for their single " What It Is to Burn" from the album of the same name (2002). Youssou N'Dour (, ; also known as Youssou Madjiguène Ndour; born 1 October 1959) is a Senegalese singer, songwriter, musician, composer, occasional actor, businessman, and politician. The Dead South
The Dead South is a folk- bluegrass musical ensemble based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The band was initially formed in 2012 as a quartet by Nate Hilts (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Scott Pringle (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Danny Kenyon (cello, bass, vocals) and Colton Crawford (banjo). Crawford left the band in 2015 and was replaced by studio musician Eliza Mary Doyle before rejoining in 2018. The band played live venues before releasing their debut five-song 2013 EP, ''The Ocean Went Mad and We Were to Blame''. Their 2014 album ''Good Company'' was released by German label Devil Duck Records, and led to significant overseas touring for the next two years. Happy Mondays
Happy Mondays are an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980. The original line-up consisted of brothers Shaun Ryder (vocals) and Paul Ryder (bass), Gaz Whelan (drums), Paul Davis (keyboard), and Mark Day (guitar). Mark "Bez" Berry later joined the band onstage as a dancer and maracas player. Rowetta began working with the band as guest second vocalist in 1990. They were originally signed to Tony Wilson's Factory Records label. The group's work bridged the Manchester alternative rock music of the 1980s and the emerging UK rave scene, drawing influence from funk, house, and psychedelia to pioneer the Madchester sound. Enter Shikari are a British Rock music, rock band formed in St Albans in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. Deftones
Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California in 1988. They were formed by frontman Chino Moreno, lead guitarist Stephen Carpenter and drummer Abe Cunningham, with bassist Chi Cheng and keyboardist and turntablist Frank Delgado joining the line-up in 1990 and 1999, respectively. The band's experimental nature has led some critics to describe them as "the Radiohead of metal".
