The SAIC Rising F7 (also known as Feifan F7) is a battery electric executive car produced by Chinese automobile manufacturer SAIC Motor under the Rising Auto brand. It is the second product of the brand, and was launched in March 2023. Overview The design of the Rising Auto F7 was first previewed by the 2020 Roewe R-Aura Concept from before the Rising Auto brand was launched. Rising Auto Technology Co., Ltd., trading as Rising Auto (, ''Feifan Auto'') was an electric car, electric vehicle brand by China, Chinese automobile manufacturer SAIC Motor. Its predecessor was the Roewe R brand (or R Auto) founded on May 10, 2020. It became an independent operation and changed its name to its Rising Auto in November 2021. It ended its independent operation in October 2024 and became a high-end product line under Roewe. History Rising Auto was originally the "R Brand" in 2020, an offshoot of SAIC Motor, SAIC's Roewe brand dedicated to new energy vehicles and intelligent vehicles. The Geneva International Motor Show was an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show was hosted at the Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport. MG Motor is a British automotive manufacturer owned by SAIC Motor, a Chinese state-owned carmaker based in Shanghai. It uses the MG marque, founded in Oxford, England, in 1924.
