Executive Cars
Executive car is a British term for a large car, and is considered equivalent to the European E-segment and American full-size car, full-size classifications. Executive cars are larger than compact executive cars (and the non-luxury equivalent mid-size cars), but smaller than Luxury car#Luxury saloon / full-size luxury sedan, luxury saloons / full-size luxury sedans. The term has also been adopted by Euro NCAP, a European organization founded to test car safety. Background The term was coined in the 1960s to describe cars targeted at successful professionals and middle-to-senior managers. It was used by businesses as an incentive for employees in senior roles and to exploit Britain and Europe's tax schemes as a company-owned vehicle. The BMW 5 Series (G60) is an executive car manufactured and marketed by German luxury automaker BMW since 2023. The lineup consists of the G60 sedan (automobile), saloon, G61 station wagon, estate (marketed as ''Touring''), and the G68 long-wheelbase sedan. BMW 5 Series (G30)
The seventh generation of the BMW 5 Series consists of the BMW G30 (sedan version) and BMW G31 (wagon version, marketed as 'Touring') executive cars. The G30/G31 has been produced since 2016 by the Germany, German automaker BMW and is often collectively referred to as the G30. It was officially announced on 12 October 2016 and sales began in February 2017. The Jaguar XF (X260) is an executive/ mid-size luxury sports saloon manufactured and marketed under the Jaguar marque of Jaguar Land Rover from 2015 to 2024, in saloon and estate body styles. The BYD Han () is a series of full-size sedan (E-segment) manufactured by the Chinese manufacturer BYD Auto since 2020. It is a flagship model of BYD's Dynasty Series passenger vehicles, and was named after the Han Dynasty, the first golden age of Imperial China. Since its introduction, the Han has been available as a battery electric vehicle marketed as Han EV and several plug-in hybrid variants. Rover 75
The Rover 75 is a car which was manufactured from 1998 to 2005 and sold under the British Rover marque. It is a large family car and came in four-door saloon and five-door estate body styles. Initially built only with front-wheel drive, a rear-wheel drive variant with a V8 engine was later sold. There was also an extended-wheelbase model. In 2001, MG Rover launched a badge engineered variant, the MG ZT. A coupé concept was built, but did not receive further development. The Roewe 750 is an executive saloon that was produced by Roewe in China between 2006 and 2016, based on the Rover 75. Overview Launched in October 2006, and codenamed ''SAC528'' during development, the wheelbase of the Roewe 750 is stretched by compared to the Rover 75.
