Season Of Poison
''Season of Poison'' is the second studio album by American indie rock band Shiny Toy Guns. It was released on November 4, 2008 through Universal Motown Records Group. It peaked at #47 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 the following week. The album introduced the band's 3rd female vocalist, Sisely Treasure. The album featured two singles: " Ricochet!" and "Ghost Town". ''Season of Poison'' generated far less hype than '' We Are Pilots'' and failed to sell well, resulting in a low sales count of 60,000 copies. In 2009, Jeremy Dawson admitted via Shiny Toy Guns' official website that while he believes ''Season of Poison'' is a great album, it was indeed too different too soon, and promised a return to their electronic roots for the band's third album. Shiny Toy Guns is an American rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California in 2002. The band is composed of guitarist/vocalist Chad Petree, vocalist Carah Faye Charnow, keyboardist Jeremy Dawson, and drummer Mikey Martin. Ghost Town (Shiny Toy Guns Song)
"Ghost Town" is the fifth single by Shiny Toy Guns, and the second single from their second album '' Season of Poison''. The single peaked at #26 on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart. Music video Shot as an animated video, it starts with a capture of an abandoned placard, which read "Welcome to Ghost Town, Population Dead." The video then continues showing the band, all portrayed as cartoon characters, singing the song. While they invade the town with their out-loud performance, zombies are seen coming out of the ground. Nearing the end, all the ghosts, including all the band's members, disappear when struck with the sunlight. The music video was directed by Glen Hanson.
