Rick Bay
Richard M. Bay (born 1941 or 1942) is a former American football player, wrestler, college athletics administrator, Major League Baseball executive. He was a football player and wrestler at the University of Michigan from 1961 to 1965. He also served as Michigan's head wrestling coach from 1970 to 1974 and as the president of the United States Wrestling Federation from 1976 to 1980. He has also held positions as athletic directors at University of Oregon (1981–1984), Ohio State University (1984–1987), University of Minnesota (1988–1991) and San Diego State University (1995–2003). He was executive vice president and chief operating officer of the New York Yankees for several months in 1988 and president and chief executive officer of the Cleveland Indians in the early 1990s. 1985 Florida Citrus Bowl
The 1985 Florida Citrus Bowl was the 40th edition held of the Citrus Bowl. It featured the BYU Cougars and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Background Both teams were ranked coming into the Citrus Bowl, with BYU playing in their eighth consecutive bowl game. The Cougars appeared in nine more before the streak ended in 1994. The 1985 BYU Cougars football team represented Brigham Young University during the 1985 NCAA Division I-A football season. The Cougars were led by 14th-year head coach LaVell Edwards and played their home games at Cougar Stadium in Provo, Utah. Bill Bowerman
William Jay Bowerman (February 19, 1911 – December 24, 1999) was an American track and field coach and co-founder of Nike, Inc. Over his career, he trained 31 Olympic Games, Olympic athletes, 51 All-Americans, 12 American record-holders, 22 NCAA champions and 16 sub-4 minute milers. Bowerman disliked being called a coach, and during his 24 years at the University of Oregon, the Oregon Ducks track and field, Ducks track and field team had a winning season every year but one, attained 4 NCAA titles, and finished in the top 10 in the nation sixteen times. Clifford Patrick Keen (June 13, 1901 – November 4, 1991) was an American coach who served as the head coach of the University of Michigan collegiate wrestling team from 1925 to 1970.
