Mike Harmon Racing (formerly CHK Racing, Elite 2 Racing and Richardson-Netzloff-Harmon Racing) is an American professional stock car racing team that fields the No. 74 Chevrolet Camaro part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Carson Ware and Dawson Cram and the No. 74 Chevrolet Silverado part-time in the NASCAR Truck Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Cram and Caleb Costner. Mike Harmon (racing Driver)
Michael Joseph Harmon (born January 24, 1958) is an American professional stock car racing driver, crew chief, and team owner. He owns Mike Harmon Racing which currently fields the No. 74 Chevrolet Camaro part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. As a driver, he most recently competed in 2023. In the past, he drove in the NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series, finishing 8th in points in 1997. NASCAR career Harmon made his NASCAR debut in 1996 driving the No. 24 Chevrolet at South Boston Speedway, where he finished 31st after a transmission failure. He ran seven more races in the car that season, with a best finish of 23rd, but a sponsorship struggle caused his team to close down. Road America is a motorsport Road racing, road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Wisconsin Highway 67. The Road America 180 was a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that has taken place at Road America since 2010. The race has been a standalone race for the series except for in 2021 and 2022 when the NASCAR Cup Series had a race at the track on the same weekend as the Xfinity Series race. Since its inception, the race has featured highly competitive races and is considered one of the most unpredictable races of the season. Rick Ware Racing (RWR) is an American motorsports team which currently competes in the NASCAR Cup Series, American Flat Track, and National Hot Rod Association, NHRA. History The organizational roots of RWR date back to Ware & Sons Racing with Rick and his father John Ware competing in the Sports Car Club of America, SCCA Series. The website was founded by Jay "Jayski" Adamczyk in 1996 (who was a fan of Mark Donohue) after he had difficulty finding news regarding the Melling Racing team, and subsequently worked to get all NASCAR news grouped together on the site. The site was purchased from Adamczyk by ESPN in 2007; after ESPN shut the site down in January 2019, Adamczyk reacquired the rights to Jayski-related properties in April 2019 and rolled out a limited version of the new website with a full launch occurring on May 13, 2019.
