Richard S. Kline
Richard S. Kline (March 24, 1940 – March 21, 2020) was an American television producer and Television director, director whose most notable work was in game shows. He directed and produced programs for Barry & Enright Productions until 1984, after which he formed his own production company, Kline & Friends. Early work Prior to breaking into game shows, Kline worked as a producer for CBS News in the 1960s, then for ''The Dick Cavett Show'' in the early 1970s. Jack Barry Productions One of Richard S. Kline's early shows where he worked as a director was on Jack Barry (television personality), Jack Barry's ''The Joker's Wild'' on CBS, starting in 1972. He also served as an associate producer, and did both jobs until the series ended in 1975. ''3rd Degree!'' is an American game show that aired in syndication from September 11, 1989, to June 8, 1990, with repeats continuing until September 7, 1990. The show was a panel game much in the vein of an earlier game show called '' Make the Connection'', where two people with a specific connection would play against the panel. ''Win, Lose or Draw'' is an American television game show that aired from 1987 to 1990 in syndication and on NBC. It was taped at CBS Television City (one of the few non- CBS game shows to tape there), often in Studios 31, 33, and 43 at various times. Bernard Whalen "Bert" Convy (July 23, 1933 – July 15, 1991) was an American actor, singer, game show host and panelist known for hosting ''Tattletales'', ''Super Password'' and '' Win, Lose or Draw''. ''Strike It Rich'' is an American game show that aired in syndication during the 1986–87 television season. It was hosted by Joe Garagiola with Theresa Ring as prize model (who only displayed the prizes in taped segments) and Bob Hilton as the announcer.
