Fatma Shanan
Fatma Shanan is a Druze painter from Israel. Biography Fatma Shanan was born in 1986 and grew up in Julis, Israel. As a kid, she attended private art lessons due to the lack of art courses in her elementary school curriculum. She studied visual arts at the Oranim Academic College from 2007 to 2010. Si On formerly known as Hyon Gyon (born Hyun Kyoung Park, June 16, 1979), is a painter who received her doctorate from the Kyoto City University of Arts. She is best known for her use of traditional Korean shamanistic imagery in her large-scale paintings. Before she earned her masters and doctorate, Hyon Gyon earned her BFA from Mokwon University in Daejeon, South Korea. She now lives in Poland. Maayan Sheleff is an independent art curator and artist based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her projects explore social and political issues through participatory practices, at the intersection of art and technology. Biography Sheleff was raised in Kiryat Ono, Israel.
