Renat Kuzmin
Renat Raveliyovych Kuzmin (; born 12 July 1967) is a former Ukrainian lawyer and politician who was the First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine between 2010 and 2013, State Counselor of Justice 1st class, public servant 1st rank. In the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election Kuzmin was elected and was a People's Deputy of Ukraine from August 2019 until January 2023. On 13 January 2023, a constitutional majority of members of Ukraine’s parliament voted to strip Kuzmin of his position as a people’s deputy. People's Deputy Of Ukraine
A people's deputy of Ukraine (, ) is a member of parliament and legislator elected by Direct election, popular vote to the Verkhovna Rada, the parliament of Ukraine. They are often referred to simply as "deputies". Prior to 1991, the Verkhovna Rada had been called the Supreme Council of People's Deputies of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Statutes concerning elections and the rights and duties of deputies are outlined in Articles 76 - 81 of the Constitution of Ukraine. Ukraine's parliament has 450 seats.
