Remedy Entertainment Oyj, trading internationally as Remedy Entertainment Plc, is a Finnish video game developer based in Espoo. Notable games the studio has developed include the first two entries in the ''Max Payne'' franchise, '' Alan Wake'', '' Quantum Break'' and '' Control''. Sam Lake, Remedy's creative director, has represented the company on numerous occasions. Founded in August 1995 by members of demoscene group Future Crew, Remedy Entertainment created their first game, '' Death Rally'', in a team member's basement. Apogee Software served as the game's publisher, and continued to be involved in the production of their next title, ''Max Payne'', which received critical acclaim upon release. Remedy Drive is an American alternative rock band founded in 1998 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They are now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Nashville. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist David Zach, alternating bassists Philip Zach and Dave Mohr, and alternating drummers Timmy Jones and Chris Sooter (with an extended appearance by Nashville-based drummer Tim Buell and occasional appearances by other drummers including Michael Sturd and Zach Hunter). Remedy UK was a pressure group representing junior doctors in the United Kingdom. The organisation was set up by four junior doctors in 2007 to campaign against UK government-led medical training reforms known as Modernising Medical Careers(MMC) and their implementation through the Medical Training Application Service (MTAS). Remedy UK was created in response to what was perceived to be an insufficiently robust response by the official doctors' trade union, the BMA, and professional associations ( Royal Colleges of Medicine). Remedy UK had over 13,000 members and campaigns as a grassroots doctors' organisation. It was supported by optional subscriptions from its members. After Remedy UK lost an application for Judicial Review in May 2007, the BMA announced that it would not seek to recover its legal costs.
