Rebuilding Korea Party
The Rebuilding Korea Party () is a South Korean political party founded by former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk ahead of the 2024 South Korean legislative election. The party opposes what it refers to as "prosecutorial dictatorship" and considers President Yoon Suk Yeol, Yoon Suk-yeol's administration complicit in maintaining it. The party aims to judicial reform, reform and depoliticize South Korea's Public prosecutor's office, Public Prosecutor's Office. The name of the party can pronounced as '''Cho-kuk Hyuk-sin Dang''' in Korean. The word '''Cho-kuk refers to 'Motherland (Korea)', but also refers to the name of the party founder Cho Kuk. Cho Kuk
Cho Kuk (Korean: 조국, born 6 April 1965) is a South Korean jurist and politician. He was the Senior Secretary to the President for Civil Affairs from 2017 to 2019 in the Moon Jae-in Cabinet. On 9 September 2019, President Moon Jae-in appointed Cho as Minister of Justice, replacing the incumbent Park Sang-ki. In 2019, Cho Kuk was involved in a series of controversies, including allegations of illicit business activities and falsification of academic achievements of his daughter. On 14 October, Cho Kuk announced his resignation as Minister of Justice over corruption allegations. Kim Joon-hyung (Korean: 김준형; Hanja: 金峻亨; born 29 March 1963) is a South Korean professor of international relations at Handong Global University served as the Chancellor of Korea National Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs under President Moon Jae-in from 2019 to 2021. The social safety net (SSN) consists of non-contributory assistance existing to improve lives of vulnerable families and individuals experiencing poverty and destitution. Examples of SSNs are previously-contributory social pensions, in-kind and food transfers, conditional and unconditional cash transfers, fee waivers, public works, and school feeding programs. The core idea of SSN can be understood as an analogy to a circus artist walking on a tightrope with a net hanging under it, ready to catch the artist if she falls. It is not helping her to get up on the line again, but prevents her from falling to the ground, avoiding potentially life-threatening damages. The Ministry of Economy and Finance (abbreviated to MOEF) oversees the financial policies of the South Korean government.
