Randy H. Skinner
Randel (Randy) Hershel Skinner (born March 30, 1957) is a political, judicial and criminal justice consultant. Greater Dallas Justice Revival Skinner received Mayor of Dallas Tom Leppert’s blessing in the fall of 2008 to begin planning for an urban summit. The summit would bring the West Dallas transformation model to South Dallas’ impoverished areas. The transformation process involved leaders from nearly every denomination and major non-profit in Dallas. Don Williams, noted developer and chairman of Trammel Crow, had formed the Foundation for Community Empowerment to eradicate poverty and crime in Dallas. Williams assisted in sponsoring the event. Skinner was chosen by Mayor Leppert to represent him in the movement, which grew to 300 city leaders, resulting in the launch of the Greater Dallas Justice Revival (GDJR). Thomas Chris Leppert (born June 15, 1954) is an American businessman and politician who is the former CEO of Kaplan, Inc., one of the world's largest education providers. He had oversight of the company's operating divisions (Kaplan Test Prep and Kaplan Higher Education in the United States, and Kaplan International) until his resignation was announced in July 2015. Leppert served as the 59th mayor of Dallas, Texas from 2007 to 2011, and previously worked as CEO of the Turner Corporation. South Dallas is an area in Dallas, Texas. It is south of Downtown Dallas, bordered by Trinity River on the west, Interstate 30 on the north, and the Great Trinity Forest to the south and east. In recent years the City of Dallas and organizations including Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Dallas have begun revitalizing the area in an effort to make the area more attractive to homeowners and foster economic development. Frederick William Hammond (born December 27, 1960) is an American gospel singer, bass guitar player, and record producer. He is regarded as one of the most popular figures in contemporary gospel music. He is known for using a variety of different styles in his music such as R&B, hip-hop, and disco. Musical career Hammond has been active both as a member of the gospel performing group Commissioned, and as a solo artist (currently for Verity Records). New Breed is a Christian Latin hip hop duo from Boston, Massachusetts, consisting of brother and sister Rosario "Macho" and Elsie Ortega. An affiliate of the underground hip hop collective Tunnel Rats, the duo has recorded and toured both as part of the Tunnel Rats and independently. After joining the Tunnel Rats in 1998, New Breed appeared on the DJ Maj mixtape ''Full Plates'' with the song "What's My Name" in 2001, and later that year on the Tunnel Rats album ''Tunnel Vision''. Michael Scott Rawlings (born August 25, 1954) is an American businessman and politician who served as the 59th Mayor of Dallas, Texas. A member of the Democratic Party, he won the nonpartisan 2011 Dallas mayoral election defeating former Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle.
