Raghupati Gop was an Indian politician. He was elected as a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Piro constituency now known as Tarari Assembly constituency. Death Gop died on 3 August 2019. He was cremated in the presence of all local leaders across the party line, at his ancestral village in Charpokhari, Arrah district. Charpokhari (also spelled Charpokhri) is a village and corresponding community development block in Bhojpur district of Bihar, India. As of 2011, its population was 1,874, in 314 households. The total block population was 101,363, in 15,961 households. Demographics Charpokhari is a rural subdistrict with no large urban centres. As of 2011, the block's sex ratio was 927, which was higher than both the overall Bhojpur district ratio of 907 and the rural-specific Bhojpur district ratio of 910. The sex ratio was lower in the 0-6 age group, with 916 females for every 1000 males, which was slightly below the district's overall (918) and rural (920) sex ratios in this age group. Lok Dal
Lokdal or Lok Dal is an Indian political party based on agriculture policies, founded by former Prime Minister Charan Singh. It was founded on 26 September 1979 by merging Janata Party (Secular), Socialist Party (Limaye) and Orissa Janata Party. Charan Singh was elected president of Lok Dal and Raj Narain, its working president. In August 1982, major split occurred in Lok Dal, with one faction of Charan Singh and another consisted of Karpoori Thakur, Madhu Limaye, Biju Patnaik, Devi Lal, George Fernandes, Kumbha Ram Arya. Shahabad District
Shahabad district or Arrah district, headquartered at Arrah (now part of Bhojpur) was a Bhojpuri speaking district in western Bihar, India, making the western border of Bihar with Uttar Pradesh. In 1972, the district was split into two districts: Bhojpur and Rohtas. Kaimur District was carved out from Rohtas in 1991 and Buxar District from Bhojpur in 1992. Historically, the geographic area was the eastern part of the Mahajanapada Kingdom of Kashi, with the Son River separating it from Magadh.
