''Rafter Romance'' is an American 1933 Pre-Code Hollywood, pre-Code romantic comedy film directed by William A. Seiter and released by RKO Radio Pictures. János Székely (writer)
János Székely (7 July 1901, Budapest – 16 December 1958, East Berlin) was a Jewish Hungarian writer and screenwriter. His best-known work is the 1949 autobiographical novel ''Kísértés'' (''Temptation''). He published some of his books under the pen name John Pen. Further alternative names of his were Hans Székely and John S. Toldy. At the age of 18, he fled World War I, from Hungary to Germany. In Berlin, he wrote numerous screenplays for silent movie stars like Brigitte Helm, Willy Fritsch, Marlene Dietrich and Emil Jannings. Ernst Lubitsch in 1934 invited him to work in Hollywood. Robert Liebmann
Robert Liebmann (5 June 1890 - July 1942) was a German screenwriter. Being of Jewish ancestry, he was one of the many that were murdered by the Nazis in 1942. During the occupation of France by the Nazis, Liebmann was arrested and sent to the Drancy internment camp. From there, the Nazis deported him to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where he was probably murdered immediately after his arrival. James Howard Dunn (November 2, 1901September 1, 1967), billed as Jimmy Dunn in his early career, was an American actor and vaudeville performer. The son of a New York stockbroker, he initially worked in his father's firm but was more interested in theater.
