Raed Ibrahim Saleh
Raed Ibrahim Saleh Haikal Al-Mukhaini (; born 9 June 1992), commonly known as Raed Ibrahim Saleh, is an Omani footballer who plays for Dhofar Club. Club career Fanja SC On 13 July 2013, he signed a contract with 2012–13 Oman Elite League runners-up Fanja SC. On 4 July 2014, he agreed a one-year contract extension with Fanja SC. Valletta FC On 14 July 2017, Saleh signed a two-year contract with Maltese side, Valletta FC. Making his first move to European football. International career Raed is part of the first team squad of the Oman national football team. He was selected for the national team for the first time in 2012. He made his first appearance for Oman on 11 September 2012 in a friendly match against Ireland. 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification (AFC)
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification saw 43 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths in the final tournament in Brazil. As in recent tournaments the AFC had four direct qualifiers for the finals tournament in addition to a further possible place via the intercontinental play-offs against CONMEBOL's fifth-placed team, which was chosen through a random draw, rather than being decided by FIFA beforehand as in previous tournaments (e.g., 2010 against a team from OFC, 2006 against a team from CONCACAF). King Fahd International Stadium

Sohar () is the capital and largest city of the Al Batinah North Governorate in Oman. The 2013–14 Oman Professional League (known as the ''Omantel Professional League'' for sponsorship reasons) is the 38th edition of the top football league in Oman. The Oman Professional League (; known as the ''Omantel Professional League'' for sponsorship reasons), previously known as the Omantel Elite League, is the top division of the Oman Football Association, and was officially created in 1976. The 2011–12 Oman Elite League (known as the ''Omantel Elite League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 36th edition of the top football league in Oman. It began on 25 September 2011 and was scheduled to finish on 19 May 2012, but for the first time in the history of Omani League, the league title had to be decided by a playoff. The AFC Champions League Two (abbreviated as the ACL Two or ACL2) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation. It is the second-tier competition of Asian club football, ranked below the AFC Champions League Elite and above the AFC Challenge League. The competition was founded in 2004 as the AFC Cup, it was played primarily among clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots to the top-tier AFC Champions League.
