The Racing Bulls VCARB 02 is a Formula One car constructed by Racing Bulls that is competing in the 2025 Formula One World Championship. The car is being driven by Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar, with Liam Lawson (who drove 11 races for the team in 2023 and 2024) later returning to replace Tsunoda from the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix after being demoted from the main Red Bull outfit after the first two rounds of the 2025 season (the Australian Grand Prix and the Chinese Grand Prix). Racing Bulls S.p.A., competing as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team (shortened to Racing Bulls or VCARB), is an Italian Formula One racing team and constructor that has been competing since the season. A waste heat recovery unit (WHRU) is an energy recovery heat exchanger that transfers heat from process outputs at high temperature to another part of the process for some purpose, usually increased efficiency. The WHRU is a tool involved in cogeneration. Red Bull Powertrains Limited (RBPT) is a Formula One power unit manufacturing company owned by the Austrian Red Bull GmbH and based in the United Kingdom. The company was formed in to take over the operation of Formula One power units developed by Honda from onwards following the Japanese manufacturer's withdrawal from the sport after 2021. The Honda RA6xxH/RBPTH hybrid power units are a series of 1.6-litre, hybrid turbocharged V6 racing engines which feature both a kinetic energy recovery (MGU-K) electric motor directly geared to the crankshaft and a heat energy recovery (MGU-H) electric motor attached via a common shaft to the turbocharger assembly.
