RK Partizan Tivat
Rukometni klub Partizan ''(''previously ''RK Boka)'' is a Montenegrin handball club from Tivat that plays in Montenegrin First League. History The first handball club from Tivat, ''RK Partizan'', was formed in 1949. Between the 1950s and 1990s, it competed in a number of different leagues, mostly in the Second League. During FR Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro, RK Partizan was renamed ''RK Tivat''. The team participated in the Second Yugoslav League - 'West' and in the Montenegrin Republic League. In 2005, RK Tivat and RK Kotor, from the nearest city of Kotor, were merged into one club. The new club, a successor of RK Tivat, was named ''RK Boka''. RK Boka played their first season in the Montenegrin First League in 2006. The club was renamed during the summer of 2014, returning to the old name RK Partizan. Dvorana Župa Tivat
Župa Hall ( Montenegrin, Дворана Жупа, ''Dvorana Župa'') is a sports arena in Tivat, Montenegro, located in the Tivat's settlement Župa, by which it got its name. The capacity of the hall is 750-900 seats. Župa Sports Hall is one kilometer from the center of Tivat. The Montenegrin Men's Handball First League (Montenegrin language, Montenegrin: ''Crnogorska prva muška rukometna liga'') is the top men's team handball league in Montenegro. It is organized by the Handball Federation of Montenegro. History Before independence During the history, many Montenegrin clubs played in the SFR Yugoslavia / FR Yugoslavia / Serbia and Montenegro First Handball League. Among them were RK Lovćen, RK Budućnost Podgorica, RK Budućnost, RK Mornar Bar, RK Mornar, RK Rudar Pljevlja, RK Rudar and RK Berane. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a Handball goalkeeper, goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. Kotor (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Котор, ), historically known as Cattaro (from Italian language, Italian: ), is a town in Coastal Montenegro, Coastal region of Montenegro. The Valur men's handball is an Iceland professional team handball club from Reykjavík, that plays in the Úrvalsdeild karla. History The Valur men's handball team has a long history in Icelandic handball, the club is one of the most successful in the sport in Iceland: no team has won the Icelandic Championship and the Icelandic Cup as many times as the Valur men's team.
