RC Calais
Racing Club Calais is a football club based in Calais, France. It was founded in 2023 from a merger of Grand Calais Pascal FC and Calais FC Hauts-de-France. As of the 2024–25 season, it competes in the Championnat National 3, the fifth tier of French football. History In 2017, Calais RUFC ceased operations due to financial issues. Among the successor clubs in the city were Calais FC Hauts-de-France and Grand Calais Pascal FC. In 2023, the two clubs merged to create a new club called Racing Club Calais. The first team would start in the Régional 1, the sixth tier of French football, where Grand Calais Pascal FC had been playing prior to the merger. Stade De L'Épopée
The Stade de l'Épopée () is a stadium in Calais, France. It is currently used for football matches, and is the home stadium of Championnat National 3 club RC Calais. Axel Prohouly
Axel Prohouly (born 30 June 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Championnat National 3 club Calais. Seen as a top prospect as a teenager, he was courted by Barcelona and Chelsea. However, he ended up signing with Queens Park Rangers from Monaco in June 2015. He had a brief loan spell with Port Vale in January 2017 but left QPR twelve months later without having played a first-team game. He returned to France and had short spells with amateur clubs Racing Club de France, Lorient B, Loon-Plage and Grande-Synthe.
