Punjab United F.C. is a association football, football club based in Gravesend, Kent, England. History The club was founded in 2003. The club joined the Kent County League Premier Division in 2016, and in their inaugural season won the Kent Intermediate Challenge Cup, were finalists in the Kent County League Cup, and were crowned the 2016–17 League champions. The club were the first Asian team to win the league and did so with the highest league points total in the history of the league. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). Since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Women's FA Cup. Southern Counties East Football League
The Southern Counties East Football League is an English football league established in 1966, which has teams based in Kent and Southeast London. Until 2013, it was known as the Kent League. There was a previous Kent League, that existed from 1894 to 1959. History The first Kent League was formed in 1894 and folded in 1959. Despite many of the same clubs having spells in membership, there is no direct connection between the two competitions. The current incarnation of the league was formed in 1966 as the Kent Premier League (changing to Kent Football League in 1968), and in its early years many of its members were reserve sides of Southern League teams. Gradually, the reserve sides were all shifted down into the lower divisions. The 2023–24 FA Vase (known for sponsorship reasons as the Isuzu FA Vase) is the 50th season of the FA Vase, an annual football competition for teams playing in levels 9 and 10 (steps 5 & 6) of the English National League System. The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. He currently presents ''Gillette Soccer Saturday'' for Sky Sports and hosted coverage of the Champions League between 2011 and 2015.
