The Pro Hokei Ligasy, commonly referred to as ''Kazakhstan Hockey Championship'', is the highest level of ice hockey in Kazakhstan. Founded in 1992, eleven teams from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan compete to win the Kazakhstan Hockey Cup. The Kazakhstan Sports Palace () is a palace of sports in Astana, Kazakhstan. It is the home of Nomad Astana and HC Astana of the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship, and Snezhnye Barsy junior hockey team of the Junior Hockey League. It seats 4,070 spectators for ice hockey. Nomad Hockey Club (; ), commonly referred to as Nomad Astana, is a farm team of the Barys Astana of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Founded in 2007 as Barys Astana–2, the team changed its name to Nomad Astana in 2013. Formerly a member of the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship, Supreme Hockey League, Nomad currently play in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship. The Humo Arena, also known as Ice Dome Tashkent or Humo Ice Dome, () is a multifunctional indoor arena located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
