President Wanted
''President Wanted'' () is a 2013 Czech documentary film about the 2013 Czech presidential election, first direct presidential election in the Czech Republic. It was directed by Tomáš Kudrna. President wanted follows candidates from the summer 2012 to January 2013. The film shows candidates behind scenes. The film also shows the most important moments in the campaign. It also follows candidates that didn´t qualify for the election It premiered on 21 March 2013. Plot The film starts with introduction of all candidates during Czech Television debate prior the first round. 2013 Czech Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in the Czech Republic in January 2013, the country's first direct election for the presidency. No candidate received a majority of the votes in the first round on 11–12 January, so a second round runoff election was held on 25–26 January. Nine individuals secured enough signatures or support of parliamentarians to become official candidates for the office. Miloš Zeman of the Party of Civic Rights (SPOZ) and Karel Schwarzenberg of TOP 09 qualified for the second round, which was won by Zeman with 54.8% of the vote, compared to Schwarzenberg's 45.2%. Zeman assumed office in March 2013 after being sworn in. Václav Klaus
Václav Klaus (; born 19 June 1941) is a Czech economist and politician who served as the second president of the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013. From July 1992 until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in January 1993, he served as the second and last prime minister of the Czech Republic while it was a federal subject of the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic, and then as the first prime minister of the newly independent Czech Republic from 1993 to 1998. Jiřina Bohdalová (born 3 May 1931 in Prague, Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic) is a Czech actress. Career She began acting in theatre and film at an early age. She was accepted to The Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) at her third attempt. She received an offer from Jan Werich to join the actor's troupe at Divadlo ABC theatre which she accepted. Later on, she performed in many other “City Theatres of Prague” (Městská divadla pražská). Daniel Hůlka (born 1 June 1968) is a Czech actor and baritone who is known for his performances in musical theatre, film, and opera. He has won both the Český slavík and the Anděl Award multiple times and has released several recordings on EMI. Life and career Music and film Born in Prague, Hůlka took the flute, clarinet, and piano in grade school, and played volleyball in high school, while also singing and playing guitar in a band with friends. Filip Renč (born 17 August 1965) is a Czech film director, screenwriter, and actor. Biograph Filip Renč was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Since his childhood, he already proved his enthusiasm for movies and drama. As a young boy he appeared in several movies, including ''Julek'' (1980) and ''Leve kridlo'' (1983).
