Pour Notre Vallée
For Our Valley (, PNV) is a Centrism, centrist List of political parties in Aosta Valley, political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. In November 2016, two regional councillors, former senator Antonio Fosson and Claudio Restano, left the Valdostan Union (UV) in disagreement with Augusto Rollandin, President of Aosta Valley, and launched the party. PNV was immediately admitted into the coalition supporting the regional government composed also of the Progressive Valdostan Union (2013), Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP), Edelweiss (political party), Edelweiss (SA) and the Democratic Party (Italy), Democratic Party (PD). In March 2017, PNV stopped supporting the government and, along with the UVP, SA and Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (ALPE), formed a new government without the UV, under President Pierluigi Marquis (SA), with Restano minister of Tourism, Sports, Commerce and Transports. Regionalism is a political ideology that seeks to increase the political power, influence and self-determination of the people of one or more subnational regions. It focuses on the "development of a political or social system based on one or more" regions, and/or the national, normative, or economic interests of a specific region, group of regions or another subnational entity, gaining strength from or aiming to strengthen the "consciousness of and loyalty to a distinct region with a homogeneous population", similarly to nationalism. Valdostan Rally (2023)
The Valdostan Rally (''Rassemblement Valdôtain'', RV) is a conservative political party in Aosta Valley, Italy. History The party was formed in September 2023 by a group of splinters from Lega Vallée d'Aoste, including 4 out of 11 regional councillors of the party, of which they represented the conservative wing: Stefano Aggravi (leader), Dennis Brunod (deputy leader), Diego Lucianaz, and Dino Planaz. In its foundation charter, the RV aimed at "uniting Valdostans who believe in special autonomy, federalism, the preservation of our Valley's identity and traditions, the defense of individual liberties and our society's conservative values". 2020 Valdostan Regional Election
The 2020 Valdostan regional election took place on 20 and 21 September 2020 in Aosta Valley, Italy. The election was originally scheduled to take place on 19 April 2020, but was then postponed first to 10 May and then delayed for a second time due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy, coronavirus pandemic in Italy. Mouv' (), officially United Aosta Valley – Mouv' (), was a progressive political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. The party was launched in March 2017 as a split from the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP). History In June 2016, the UVP joined the regional government led by Augusto Rollandin of the Valdostan Union (UV), fueling rumors of a re-unification with the UV. The 2018 Valdostan regional election took place on 20 May 2018 in Aosta Valley, Italy. Background The 2013 regional election confirmed the incumbent autonomist coalition government, led by the Valdostan Union (UV), which retained its absolute majority in the Regional Council of Aosta Valley. The coalition lost 14pp from 2008, however. In July 2015 the regional government, which had been led by UV's Augusto Rollandin since 2008 (he had been President also in 1984–1990 and senator for Aosta Valley in 2001–2006), was enlarged to the centre-left Democratic Party (PD).
