Valdostan Rally (2023)
The Valdostan Rally (''Rassemblement Valdôtain'', RV) is a conservative political party in Aosta Valley, Italy. History The party was formed in September 2023 by a group of splinters from Lega Vallée d'Aoste, including 4 out of 11 regional councillors of the party, of which they represented the conservative wing: Stefano Aggravi (leader), Dennis Brunod (deputy leader), Diego Lucianaz, and Dino Planaz. In its foundation charter, the RV aimed at "uniting Valdostans who believe in special autonomy, federalism, the preservation of our Valley's identity and traditions, the defense of individual liberties and our society's conservative values". In November 2023, the RV was organised as a full-fledged political party, with Aggravi secretary and Davide Bionaz president. The Valdostan Union (, UV), also Valdostian Union or Valdotanian Union, is a regionalist and centrist political party in Aosta Valley, Italy. It represents mainly the French-speaking minority in the region. One of its leading members, Renzo Testolin, has been the President of Aosta Valley since March 2023, replacing Erik Lavévaz, also of the UV.
