Ente per le Arti applicate alla Moda e al Costume abbreviated as Polimoda is a private fashion school in Florence, capital of Tuscany, Italy. The school was originally founded by Shirley Goodman, the former Executive Vice President Emeritus at Fashion Institute of Technology, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, New York and Executive Director of the Educational Foundation for the Fashion Industries, and Emilio Pucci, Don Emilio Pucci, Marquis di Barsento and founder of the famous Florentine brand Emilio Pucci. Linda Loppa
Linda Loppa is a Belgian fashion designer and fashion consultant. For nine years, she served as the director of Polimoda in Florence, Italy and is now its strategy and vision advisor. Loppa is known for her role in the development of fashion in Belgium. Prior to working at Polimoda, she served as the director of the fashion department at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and simultaneously as the director and curator of ModeMuseum Antwerpen. She is also a cofounder of the Flanders Fashion Institute. Early life and education Loppa was born in Antwerp on June 26, 1948. Her father, Renzo Loppa, was a tailor. Massimiliano Giornetti
Massimiliano Giornetti (born 29 October 1971 in Carrara) is an Italian fashion designer. He has been the creative director of the luxury goods company Salvatore Ferragamo from 2004 to 2016, and the creative director at the Hong Kong luxury fashion house Shanghai Tang since 2018. Giornetti is currently the Director of Polimoda, a fashion school based in Florence, Italy. He was appointed to the position in 2021, following a career in the fashion industry. Renato Ricci
Renato Ricci (1 June 1896 – 22 January 1956) was an Italian fascist politician active during the Mussolini government. Early life and arrest Ricci was born on 1 June 1896 in Carrara into working-class family. He first came to prominence as a legionary of Gabriele d'Annunzio from 1919 to 1920. He was arrested for his activities and imprisoned in Sarzana leading in 1920 to a failed attempt to liberate him by fascist activists which, despite being a failure proved a propaganda success.
