''Please Transpose'' is the third and final extended play by the Philippine alternative rock band Eraserheads (credited as Eheads). Released in August 2002, it was self-produced by the band with their new vocalist Kris Gorra-Dancel, who joined the group after Ely Buendia left earlier that year. Background Eraserheads released their seventh studio album ''Carbon Stereoxide'' in March 2001. Vocalist Ely Buendia left the band a year later, having missed two live shows, with drummer Raimund Marasigan filling in for him. The band later debuted with a new vocalist, Kris Gorra-Dancel of Fatal Posporos, at Hard Rock Manila in April. The band had considered changing their name but decided to wait. "It gets more gigs than a new name,” Marasigan explained. “We don't need to prove anything by getting a new name. We earned the name." Eraserheads (sometimes stylized as ƎRASERHEADS or ƎRASƎRHƎADS) are a Filipino rock band formed in Quezon City in 1989. The band consists of lead singer and primary songwriter Ely Buendia, guitarist Marcus Adoro, bassist Buddy Zabala, and drummer Raimund Marasigan. Hailed as “the Beatles of the Philippines”, they are regarded as one of the most influential and successful bands in the country. Dogme 95
Dogme 95 (; Danish for "Dogma 95") was a Danish avant-garde filmmaking movement founded by Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg, who created the "Dogme 95 Manifesto" and the "Vows of Chastity" (). These were rules to create films based on the traditional values of story, acting, and theme, while excluding the use of elaborate special effects or technology. It was supposedly created as an attempt to "take back power for the directors as artists" as opposed to the movie studio. Buddy Zabala
Hector "Buddy" Avanceña Zabala (born November 13, 1971) is a Filipino musician and producer. He is currently the bassist of Filipino pop band Moonstar88, and widely known as the bassist and backing vocalist of the alternative rock band the Eraserheads. He also served as bassist to The Dawn and Hilera. Early life Zabala was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines, and attended University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City. Career Eraserheads bassist (1989–2003) Zabala only began writing and singing songs as an Eraserhead starting with the band's 1996 Christmas album, ''Fruitcake''. Marcus Antonius Corpuz Adoro (born December 31, 1971) is a Filipino musician who was the lead guitarist of the Eraserheads, a Filipino alternative rock band in the 1990s. He is also known by the stage name or band name Markus Highway. He is also a member of Pi Omicron fraternity at University of Philippines - Diliman. Eraserheads During his days as lead guitarist for the Eraserheads, Adoro only had a few contributions when it came to songwriting. Cambio was a Filipino rock group founded in 2003. The band is composed of former Eheads members Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Kris Gorra-Dancel with Ebe Dancel and Diego Mapa. History When Ely Buendia left the Eraserheads sometime in 2002, remaining members Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan decided to continue as an abbreviated "Eheads" by adding singer-guitarist Kris Gorra (from the indie punk girl group, Fatal Posporos). After just a few months, Marcus Adoro left the Eheads as well to indulge in his hobby-sport, surfing, and to pursue his own musical project, Markus Highway. Sugarfree is a Pinoy rock, Filipino rock band currently composed of Jal Taguibao on vocals and bass guitar, and Carlo "Kaka" Quisimbing on drums. Ramon Marcelino Diaz Abaya (born November 6, 1979), known professionally as Marc Abaya, is a Filipino singer, musician, actor, TV host, and VJ. He appeared in the 2009 Philippine release of ''Tinker Bell''. He is the son of actor/director Manolo Abaya and director Marilou Diaz-Abaya.
